I am a photographer! I see life in frames. Literally. Taking photos is such an integral part of me that I don’t even know how to separate who I am from the moments I capture. It gives me more joy than I could possibly express when a photo I have taken brings a smile to the viewer. I consider it an honor to share my work, and to capture the most precious moments in people’s lives.

We are a dysfunctional family of the best kind. We offer no apologies. We generally get along, but also have our moments. We love fiercely, argue occasionally, and fully accept each other for who we are. I love these people. My people. Immensely. I never knew I could feel this much love. I always thought I had to be perfect. Forget perfection, we allow each other to live authentically – which has a beauty of it’s own.
This authenticity translates in photography. Being real, raw, and open allows your essence to reveal itself in an image. Oh the beauty when that happens… there is nothing like it.
I live in Traverse City, Michigan – an area of the world that is naturally beautiful and provides an abundance of scenic backdrop. I spend time daily on walks, hikes, or just sitting by the water; as such, I am drawn to nature photography. My desire to capture life, emotion, and connection also manifests in sessions with individuals or small groups.
